Policies & Guidelines
Please read all policies carefully before booking your appointment. Following these guidelines ensures a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Important: By booking an appointment with Rich Gyal Tingz, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all policies on this page. Failure to comply may result in appointment cancellation, deposit forfeiture, or refusal of service.
Appointment & Tardiness Policy
- All appointments must be booked in advance — walk-ins are not accepted.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited.
- Please arrive with your hair properly prepped and ready (see Hair Prep Requirements below).
- Late arrivals that are rescheduled will require a new deposit.
Deposit & Payment Policy
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
- The deposit amount will be applied to the total service cost.
- Remaining balance is due at the time of service.
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, CashApp, Zelle, or Apple Pay.
- No personal checks accepted.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment to avoid losing your deposit.
- Same-day cancellations will result in a forfeited deposit.
- No-shows will result in a forfeited deposit and may be required to pay a re-booking fee.
- Repeated cancellations may result in a ban from future bookings.
Squeeze-In Appointments
- Squeeze-in appointments are available on a limited basis — text first to inquire.
- Regular squeeze-in fee: $25 (added to the service total).
- Holiday squeeze-in fee: $55 (added to the service total).
- Squeeze-in slots are not guaranteed and are offered based on availability.
Hair Prep Requirements
- Hair must be thoroughly washed before your appointment.
- Hair must be completely blow-dried and free of all products.
- Hair must be properly detangled — failure to do so results in a $10 upcharge.
- Braiding hair is included for all services in natural colors only.
- Colored braiding hair (non-natural colors) is NOT included — please bring your own.
- Extensions and specialty hair are not included unless stated in your booking.
General Policies
- Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
- No additional guests beyond what is necessary are permitted in the workspace.
- Please silence phones during the service out of courtesy.
- Rich Gyal Tingz reserves the right to refuse service at any time.
- By booking an appointment, you agree to all policies listed on this page.
